One of the final pieces from the Fergie Centerstage Collection that I will be reviewing is one of the to reflect shimmer palettes. The palette I purchased is Carnaval in Rio. I really love this as a subtle golden highlight.

In the pan, Carnaval in Rio is a peach color with gold veining. I found it to leave a beautiful gold sheen on my face that is truly noticeable when the light hits it so that I shimmer and not shine! Because of its subtleness, I found the swatch difficult to photograph, but my efforts are below.

Review: Wet n Wild Fergie Centerstage Collection Lipsticks

20130128-213730.jpg

Today I will be reviewing six of the ten lipsticks from the Fergie Centerstage Collection. The six lipsticks that I picked up are: Bebot Love, tan neutral; V.I.Pink, bubble gum pink; Penthouse Sweet, blue toned hot pink; Old School Glam, orangey red; Fuchsianista, dark purple pink with a slight blue shimmer; and Ferguson Crest Cabernet, deep pinkish purple.

I really like the formula of these lipsticks. They are not drying or too glossy. The deeper colors (Old School Glam, Fuchsianista, and Ferguson Crest Cabernet) can stain your skin a little, which I actually prefer in a lipstick because I have longer lasting lip color that way.

Review: Fergie Centerstage Collection Photo Op Eyeshadow Desert Festival

Hello Beauties! Today I have a review of the Desert Festival palette from the Wet n Wild Fergie Centerstage Collection.  This palette contains five eyeshadows.  In the upper left corner, there is a sparkly beige; in the upper right corner, a bright red orange; the bottom right corner,  a dark brown with golden glitter; in the bottom left corner,  a light orange with golden glitter; and in the center,  a chocolate brown.

I was very pleased with the colors in this palette.  The color pay off was very good with each shade.  I was surprised to find that the glitter in the eyeshadow in this palette actually transferred to the eye, unlike the Dutchess Lounge palette.  Overall, I think this palette is wonderful for a neutral look or a bright fun look.

Review: Wet n Wild Fergie Centerstage Collection Photo Op Dutchess Lounge Eyeshadow

Wet n Wild Fergie Photo Op Eyeshadow

Hello Beauties! Today I am reviewing one of the eyeshadow palettes from Wet n Wild’s Fergie Centerstage Collection. I picked up two eyeshadow palettes, three lipsticks, the eyeshadow primer, and one of the shimmer palettes. I usually review products of the same collection all together, but I wanted to give each item the attention that it deserves.

Each Fergie Centerstage Eyeshadow palette contains five colors. The Dutchess Lounge palette contains a matte purple, a silver, a black with purple glitter, a black with silver glitter, and a deep brownish purple color with multi colored glitter.

Over all, this palette was disappointing. It is definitely not of the same quality that I have come to know and expect from Wet n Wild products. I had to layer the purple on in order for it to show. When using the glittery shadows, I ended up with very little glitter on my eyelid and tons of glitter on my face. The most disappointing color of the palette was the completely sheer silver. Ultimately, I suggest that you leave this palette at the store!

Despite its dismal performance, I managed to put together a look using the purple and black with purple glitter and a few other products from the collection.

Black Radiance Artisan Color Baked Blushes: Warm Berry and Toasted Almond

Black Radiance Artisan Color Baked Blush

I was first introduced to Black Radiance products when I did my friends makeup for her wedding.  Since I was just beginning to do makeup on others, I asked her to bring her foundation with her, and it was from black Radiance. That day prompted me to look more into the products that they offer because the foundation was pretty good (but we’ll discuss that later). I went to Rite Aid to find the Black Radiance selection and came across some beautiful baked blushes (try saying that three times fast, lol). The colors popped in the package and I hoped that they would be just as pigmented when I finally got them home. These blushes were way more pigmented than I expected. With the Warm Berry blush I have to use a very light hand so that I won’t over do it.
